inneshiek Players Auditions

Winneshiek Players is holding open auditions for the final show of its 86th season, the delightful comic romp Nana’s Naughty Knickers on Monday, February 6th, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Winneshiek Playhouse at 228 West Clark St. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. No previous theatrical experience is necessary. Production and backstage crew members are also needed. The show runs May 5th and May 10-12, 2012.

This crisp, funny comedy follows Bridget who is planning a stay with her grandmother in New York for the summer. The visit quickly turns into an experience she will never forget! Grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment selling handmade naughty knickers to senior citizens!

Characters include: Sylvia Charles and Vera Walters: early 80's, partners in crime and sassy; Bridget Charles: mid to late 20’s, law student; Tom O’Grady: early 30’s to early 40’s; Gil Schmidt: mid 50's to mid 60's; Heather Van Pree: mid 20’s to mid 30’s; Clair: the big client, mid 60’s; 2 other minor male roles: 30’s to 40’s.
